Animal Outreach Humane Society is a proud member of the McHenry County Animal Welfare Coalition. Several locally state licensed animal welfare rescue organizations have come together to work towards saving more animals lives. Through our partnership we are able to bring our ideas, time and talent to help assist and adopt animals through combined adoption events and programs. Several adoptions events are held throughout the year to bring awareness of the pets available through local shelters.
Through the Animal Outreach Feral Friends program we transfer feral cats that are taken in by the county, alter, provide vaccinations and relocate them to qualify barn homes. Normally, feral cats are euthanized by the county.
Animal Outreach also accepts cat transfers from Animal Care and Control and High Kill shelters when space or a timeframe has been reached for adoptable animals. In addition to saving lives we are saving tax payer dollars as well! This work is possible because of support from people like you.
Please consider making a donation today or becoming a live saving volunteer.
Together we can all make a difference in an animal’s life!
